Ice Skating

Our ice skating class has ended, and we won't be signing up for the next session. Gavin never really warmed up to it, even though he repeatedly said he wanted to skate with me. I guess being on the ice and watching cartoon kids skate on a pond are just too different for him!

Francis was able to drop by one of our lessons and take a few pictures. The instructor was trying to convince Gavin to skate, or at least walk, through the cones:

More coaxing. Oh, well, at least we tried it!

Tuesday Cuteness

Gavin had a cold the other week, and was falling asleep on the couch. He had an early bedtime that night!

He shared his cold with me and now Francis has it, too.




Did I mention Gavin loves playing with his planes? This game also involves the motorcycles parked on the couch. (Click on any picture for a larger image.)

Playdate!

Recently we had a chance to get together with Felix and Pierre. The weather was warm enough (barely) to go outside. The boys used up a lot of energy running and riding scooters around the neighborhood.

Gavin loved his friends' toy planes. I don't think planes are going to replace cars, but they are becoming a favorite thing to play with:

We had a great time and can't wait to get together again!
