Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma Cordes' birthday. She has been celebrating for a few days already, and today it was the twins' turn to help her have a fun day. We gave her present to her yesterday - the kids helped open it - and today was playtime and park-time!

Reading a story before naptime (Gavin ended up not sleeping at all, just jabbering in his crib for 90 minutes. Grandma said he was practicing his vocabulary before saying it to me and Francis. At least he wasn't crying! )

When we got to the park, we encountered orange constructioon cones and fencing. There were guys digging up a big section of the field next to the play equipment. Another mom who was there told me they are putting in new play equipment, but it won't be ready until August! Good thing they are leaving the old stuff in place while they work!

We hope Grandma has a fun dinner tonight with Auntie Di and her Miata Club. We also hope the White Sox win for her!


Evie took three little steps by herself at two different times today! She is pulling herself up quickly and with confidence, and also walking confidently with her little car.
