Saturday, Part 1

Saturday morning was rainy, so we took them to our local Barnes and Noble. That store is like a cross between a library and a toy store for us! The kids always like to play with the train table. Evie really got into the trains this time, walking all around the table to keep her train on the track.



Gavin kept catching up to her as they rounded the table.



When she was done with the trains, she entertained herself with Francis' iPod:

Then we read some of the "Fancy Nancy" books that we don't have at home:

Gavin was content to drive the trains all over the kids' section.

Evie and Gavin did really well - we were there from 9:30 to 11 am and they were perfectly behaved. Naperville's very own Mayor Pradel was going to read stories to the kids at 11am, but at that point the twins were ready to go home. We know better than to push our luck with naps! The mayor was walking in as we were walking out, and we settled for waving at him.
