Labor Day Party

On Monday, we invited both sides of our family over to our house for a cookout. We were also celebrating Grandpa Vic's birthday (Sept 4th) and Grandpa Cermak's birthday (Sept 11th). Francis grilled asparagus and a lot of other assorted vegetables, to the delight of the veggie-lovers in the group. Then he cooked cheeseburgers and even a few hot dogs...so he was pretty much standing by the grill all afternoon. Everything was delicious - great job, sweetie!

Evie was a little overwhelmed at first, right when everyone arrived. I'm not sure why, since she knows everybody pretty well. But she just seemed to need some time in my arms. Here we are with Grandma:

Here is Evie eating a sausage link. She is modeling some of her new accessories from Lovely LuLu Hair Bows:

Grandpa Cermak's red convertible is always a big hit with the twins:

Nana and Uncle David like it too!

"Someday, I'll get to drive this car!" thinks Gavin.
