Happy to be Home

We are all so happy to have Evie home! As soon as she got home Saturday, she started playing with some of Gavin's new train engines. Then she stood up (or tried to) to walk to the bookcase. Since she had been in bed for 12 days, she was a little wobbly, but she wanted to do it! She also has slept really well in her own bed.

On Sunday for lunch Evie ate three chicken nuggets! Woo-hoo!

On Sunday, Nana and Grandpa Cermak took the kids to the park, and Gavin kept kissing Evie and patting her on the head (and she did not object). I think he missed her the most of all, and he couldn't quite express it.

Gavin is saying more than 60 words now, including "broken, fly, park, book, cool," and best of all, "David," as in Uncle David! Uncle David watched Gavin on Saturday and they had some great uncle/nephew bonding time.

Hooray for Evie being home! And hooray for Gavin saying more and more words, especially "David!" I guess he had as good of a time Saturday morning as I did. :)
