Saturday With the Cermaks

Auntie Clare was in town this weekend and the kids got to see her on Saturday (Nana and Grandpa Cermak were here too, of course). They all spent the morning at the new shady park that we discovered a few weeks ago. Evie cuddled with her Auntie:




Nana spotted an abandoned cell phone on a bench at the park, and since Gavin loves phones, he brought it home. He and Nana had several pretend conversations on their phones. Then Gavin kissed the phone since it was "broken."




Gavin with both his phone and Francis' phone, and Auntie Clare with her laptop. These twins are going to be sooo tech-savvy!

Evie and Grandpa:

Nana and Grandpa Cermak have started accompanying Francis on his weekly grocery shopping trips, and they bring the twins with them. It's easy now that everyone can ride in the van! The kids love going to the store. They get slices of ham from the deli-counter lady. Gavin helps push his cart. Evie rides in another cart, and Grandpa puts paper towel rolls around her - she gets a kick out of it. Auntie Clare went with them to see just how entertaining it can be!

Did you notice that I didn't mention that I went along on either of these excursions? I didn't - I stayed home and relaxed! It was great!
