More Hugs!

Today Evie saw her cardiologist. Overall, she is healing, but she still is not gaining a lot of weight. Also, her heart became slightly enlarged as a result of her surgery and then being on the ECMO machine. Dr. Gulecyuz will do an echocardiogram on her next week to see what he can find out. He says that she is already on just about every medication that a heart baby can be on, so there probably won't be any new meds added.

Gavin and I got Evie to walk almost a full lap around our house today, pushing their little walk-n-ride cars. And when she stops, he stops too. He won't do it without her!

We went to the park today and as we were leaving, Gavin had his first fall into mud puddle! He was NOT happy. I took off his pants and shoes, put him in the stroller and hurried home as fast as I could, then it was time for a bath. Before the mud incident, he had fun exploring the park while Evie swung in the swing.
