Live Blogging the Surgery (Updated 4:30 PM)

The surgical nurse just gave us another update on Evie. The surgery is going well, and she is tolerating everything just fine. Last time her oxygen saturation levels were low, but this time they are perfectly normal for her (probably because of the shunt that is already in place on her right side).

They have isolated 3 MAPCA's, and are ready to cut them, combine them, and attach the new shunt. The nurse said she will give us another update at 6pm, unless things move faster.
