Still Trying To Gain Weight

After Evie's big Easter Sunday barf (and few more Monday morning) it turned out that she had lost 14 ounces over the weekend. Her home health nurse said it can happen with a lot of vomiting, plus she is on three diuretics. We stopped one of the diuretics just until the nurse comes tomorrow to see if that will help her keep some fluid. Other than that, Evie is more energetic every day, and today she pulled herself up--totally unassisted--twice!

Last Friday, Nana & Grandpa Cermak came over for a visit. It was kind of like "Christmas in April," because the twins received several gifts (not all of them were from their grandparents either)! Friends and colleagues, and of course the Easter Bunny, remembered the kids.

One of Francis' secretaries, Pat Whitworth, sent two soft books that have a Velcro closure (Gavin liked that part best).
